Room CINE is inspired by Cuban cinema and its creators.
Cuban cinema has experienced a major boom since 1959, with the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
From that moment onwards, the directors, producers, screenwriters and actors were committed to the task of narrating the historical events in which they were immersed.
The International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños was created shortly after in Cuba, which immediately positioned itself as one of the most important sources for creative cinematographers throughout Latin America and the Third World.
This room pays homage to the creators and technicians who built Cuban cinema, represented in the portraits of director Fernando Perez and actress Mirta Ibarra. There is also a selection of original screen printed Cuban cinema posters.
The room has a
- 200 x 210 cm double king size bed (can be made into twins)
- Large window to the exterior
- Bathroom (hot and cold water), with a disable bar
- Air conditioner
- Children’s bed available
